My son, do not forget my teaching, but keep my commands in your heart,
2±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ±×°ÍÀÌ ³Ê·Î Àå¼öÇÏ¿© ¸¹Àº ÇØ¸¦ ´©¸®°Ô ÇÏ¸ç Æò°­À» ´õÇÏ°Ô Çϸ®¶ó
for they will prolong your life many years and bring you prosperity.
3ÀÎÀÚ¿Í Áø¸®·Î ³×°Ô¼­ ¶°³ªÁö ¾Ê°Ô ÇÏ°í ±×°ÍÀ» ³× ¸ñ¿¡ ¸Å¸ç ³× ¸¶À½ÆÇ¿¡ »õ±â¶ó
Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart.
4±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ³×°¡ Çϳª´Ô°ú »ç¶÷ ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ÀºÃѰú ±ÍÁßÈ÷ ¿©±èÀ» ¹ÞÀ¸¸®¶ó
Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.
5³Ê´Â ¸¶À½À» ´ÙÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ ÀÇ·ÚÇÏ°í ³× ¸íöÀ» ÀÇÁöÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
6³Ê´Â ¹ü»ç¿¡ ±×¸¦ ÀÎÁ¤Ç϶ó ±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ³× ±æÀ» ÁöµµÇϽø®¶ó
in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
7½º½º·Î ÁöÇý·Ó°Ô ¿©±âÁö ¸»Áö¾î´Ù ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ °æ¿ÜÇÏ¸ç ¾ÇÀ» ¶°³¯Áö¾î´Ù
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil.
8À̰ÍÀÌ ³× ¸ö¿¡ ¾ç¾àÀÌ µÇ¾î ³× °ñ¼ö·Î À±ÅÃÇÏ°Ô Çϸ®¶ó
This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.
9³× Àç¹°°ú ³× ¼Ò»ê¹°ÀÇ Ã³À½ ÀÍÀº ¿­¸Å·Î ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ °ø°æÇ϶ó
Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;
10±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ³× Ã¢°í°¡ °¡µæÈ÷ Â÷°í ³× ÁóÆ²¿¡ »õ Æ÷µµÁóÀÌ ³ÑÄ¡¸®¶ó
then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.
11³» ¾Æµé¾Æ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Â¡°è¸¦ °æÈ÷ ¿©±âÁö ¸»¶ó ±× ²ÙÁö¶÷À» ½È¾îÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó
My son, do not despise the LORD'S discipline and do not resent his rebuke,
12´ëÀú ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ±× »ç¶ûÇϽô ÀÚ¸¦ ¡°èÇϽñ⸦ ¸¶Ä¡ ¾Æºñ°¡ ±× ±â»µÇÏ´Â ¾ÆµéÀ» ¡°èÇÔ °°ÀÌ ÇϽôÀ´Ï¶ó
because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
13ÁöÇý¸¦ ¾òÀº ÀÚ¿Í ¸íöÀ» ¾òÀº ÀÚ´Â º¹ÀÌ ÀÖ³ª´Ï
Blessed is the man who finds wisdom, the man who gains understanding,
14ÀÌ´Â ÁöÇý¸¦ ¾ò´Â °ÍÀÌ ÀºÀ» ¾ò´Â °Íº¸´Ù ³´°í ±× ÀÌÀÍÀÌ Á¤±Ýº¸´Ù ³ªÀ½À̴϶ó
for she is more profitable than silver and yields better returns than gold.
15ÁöÇý´Â ÁøÁÖº¸´Ù ±ÍÇÏ´Ï ³ÊÀÇ »ç¸ðÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç °ÍÀ¸·Î ÀÌ¿¡ ºñ±³ÇÒ ¼ö ¾øµµ´Ù
She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
16±× ¿ìÆí ¼Õ¿¡´Â Àå¼ö°¡ ÀÖ°í ±× ÁÂÆí ¼Õ¿¡´Â ºÎ±Í°¡ ÀÖ³ª´Ï
Long life is in her right hand; in her left hand are riches and honor.
17±× ±æÀº Áñ°Å¿î ±æÀÌ¿ä ±× Ã¸°æÀº ´Ù Æò°­À̴϶ó
Her ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace.
18ÁöÇý´Â ±× ¾òÀº ÀÚ¿¡°Ô »ý¸í ³ª¹«¶ó ÁöÇý¸¦ °¡Áø ÀÚ´Â º¹µÇµµ´Ù
She is a tree of life to those who embrace her; those who lay hold of her will be blessed.
19¿©È£¿Í²²¼­´Â ÁöÇý·Î ¶¥À» ¼¼¿ì¼ÌÀ¸¸ç ¸íö·Î ÇÏ´ÃÀ» ±»°Ô Æì¼Ì°í
By wisdom the LORD laid the earth's foundations, by understanding he set the heavens in place;
20±× Áö½ÄÀ¸·Î ÇØ¾çÀÌ °¥¶óÁö°Ô ÇϼÌÀ¸¸ç °øÁß¿¡¼­ À̽½ÀÌ ³»¸®°Ô Çϼ̴À´Ï¶ó
by his knowledge the deeps were divided, and the clouds let drop the dew.
21³» ¾Æµé¾Æ ¿ÏÀüÇÑ ÁöÇý¿Í ±Ù½ÅÀ» Áö۰í À̰͵é·Î ³× ´« ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ¶°³ªÁö ¾Ê°Ô Ç϶ó
My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight;
22±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ±×°ÍÀÌ ³× ¿µÈ¥ÀÇ »ý¸íÀÌ µÇ¸ç ³× ¸ñ¿¡ Àå½ÄÀÌ µÇ¸®´Ï
they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck.
23³×°¡ ³× ±æÀ» ¾È¿¬È÷ ÇàÇÏ°Ú°í ³× ¹ßÀÌ °ÅÄ¡Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϰÚÀ¸¸ç
Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble;
24³×°¡ ´©¿ï ¶§¿¡ µÎ·Á¿öÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°Ú°í ³×°¡ ´©¿îÁï ³× ÀáÀÌ ´Þ¸®·Î´Ù
when you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet.
25³Ê´Â âÁ¹°£ÀÇ µÎ·Á¿òÀ̳ª ¾ÇÀÎÀÇ ¸ê¸ÁÀÌ ÀÓÇÒ ¶§³ª µÎ·Á¿öÇÏÁö ¸»¶ó
Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked,
26´ëÀú ¿©È£¿Í´Â ³ÊÀÇ ÀÇÁöÇÒ ÀÚÀ̽öó ³× ¹ßÀ» ÁöÄÑ °É¸®Áö ¾Ê°Ô ÇϽø®¶ó
for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared.
27³× ¼ÕÀÌ ¼±À» º£Ç® ÈûÀÌ ÀÖ°Åµç ¸¶¶¥È÷ ¹ÞÀ» ÀÚ¿¡°Ô º£Ç®±â¸¦ ¾Æ³¢Áö ¸»¸ç
Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act.
28³×°Ô Àְŵç ÀÌ¿ô¿¡°Ô À̸£±â¸¦ °¬´Ù°¡ ´Ù½Ã ¿À¶ó ³»ÀÏ ÁÖ°Ú³ë¶ó ÇÏÁö ¸»¸ç
Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow"--when you now have it with you.
29³× ÀÌ¿ôÀÌ ³× °ç¿¡¼­ ¾È¿¬È÷ »ì°Åµç ±×¸¦ ¸ðÇØÇÏÁö ¸»¸ç
Do not plot harm against your neighbor, who lives trustfully near you.
30»ç¶÷ÀÌ ³×°Ô ¾ÇÀ» ÇàÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´°Åµç ±î´ß¾øÀÌ ´õºÒ¾î ´ÙÅõÁö ¸»¸ç
Do not accuse a man for no reason--when he has done you no harm.
31Æ÷ÇÐÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ºÎ·¯¿öÇÏÁö ¸»¸ç ±× ¾Æ¹« ÇàÀ§µçÁö ÁÀÁö ¸»¶ó
Do not envy a violent man or choose any of his ways,
32´ëÀú ÆÐ¿ªÇÑ ÀÚ´Â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¹Ì¿öÇϽÉÀ» ÀÔ°Å´Ï¿Í Á¤Á÷ÇÑ ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â ±×ÀÇ ±³ÅëÇϽÉÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¸ç
for the LORD detests a perverse man but takes the upright into his confidence.
33¾ÇÀÎÀÇ Áý¿¡´Â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ÀúÁÖ°¡ ÀÖ°Å´Ï¿Í ÀÇÀÎÀÇ Áý¿¡´Â º¹ÀÌ ÀÖ´À´Ï¶ó
The LORD'S curse is on the house of the wicked, but he blesses the home of the righteous.
34Áø½Ç·Î ±×´Â °Å¸¸ÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ºñ¿ôÀ¸½Ã¸ç °â¼ÕÇÑ ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ÀºÇý¸¦ º£Çª½Ã³ª´Ï
He mocks proud mockers but gives grace to the humble.
35ÁöÇý·Î¿î ÀÚ´Â ¿µ±¤À» ±â¾÷À¸·Î ¹Þ°Å´Ï¿Í ¹Ì·ÃÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ Çö´ÞÇÔÀº ¿åÀÌ µÇ´À´Ï¶ó
The wise inherit honor, but fools he holds up to shame.
