| | 1 | 耶和華的話又臨到我說、
The word of the LORD came to me: | |
| | 2 | 人子阿、你要審問審問這流人血的城麼．當使他知道他一切可憎的事。
"Son of man, will you judge her? Will you judge this city of bloodshed? Then confront her with all her detestable practices | |
| | 3 | 你要說、主耶和華如此說、哎、這城有流人血的事在其中、叫他受報的日期來到．又作偶像玷污自己、陷害自己。
and say: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O city that brings on herself doom by shedding blood in her midst and defiles herself by making idols, | |
| | 4 | 你因流了人的血、就為有罪．你作了偶像、就玷污自己、使你受報之日臨近、報應之年來到．所以我叫你受列國的凌辱、和列邦的譏誚。
you have become guilty because of the blood you have shed and have become defiled by the idols you have made. You have brought your days to a close, and the end of your years has come. Therefore I will make you an object of scorn to the nations and a laughingstock to all the countries. | |
| | 5 | 你這名臭、多亂的城阿、那些離你近、離你遠的、都必譏誚你。
Those who are near and those who are far away will mock you, O infamous city, full of turmoil. | |
| | 6 | 看哪、以色列的首領、各逞其能、在你中間流人之血。
"'See how each of the princes of Israel who are in you uses his power to shed blood. | |
| | 7 | 在你中間有輕慢父母的．有欺壓寄居的．有虧負孤兒寡婦的。
In you they have treated father and mother with contempt; in you they have oppressed the alien and mistreated the fatherless and the widow. | |
| | 8 | 你藐視了我的聖物、干犯了我的安息日。
You have despised my holy things and desecrated my Sabbaths. | |
| | 9 | 在你中間有讒謗人流人血的．有在山上喫過祭偶像之物的．有行淫亂的。
In you are slanderous men bent on shedding blood; in you are those who eat at the mountain shrines and commit lewd acts. | |
| | 10 | 在你中間有露繼母下體羞辱父親的．有玷辱月經不潔淨之婦人的。
In you are those who dishonor their fathers' bed; in you are those who violate women during their period, when they are ceremonially unclean. | |
| | 11 | 這人與鄰舍的妻行可憎的事．那人貪淫玷污兒婦．還有玷辱同父之姐妹的。
In you one man commits a detestable offense with his neighbor's wife, another shamefully defiles his daughter-in-law, and another violates his sister, his own father's daughter. | |
| | 12 | 在你中間有為流人血受賄賂的．有向借錢的弟兄取利、向借糧的弟兄多要的、且因貪得無饜、欺壓鄰舍奪取財物、竟忘了我．這是主耶和華說的。
In you men accept bribes to shed blood; you take usury and excessive interest and make unjust gain from your neighbors by extortion. And you have forgotten me, declares the Sovereign LORD. | |
| | 13 | 看哪、我因你所得不義之財、和你中間所流的血、就拍掌歎息。
"'I will surely strike my hands together at the unjust gain you have made and at the blood you have shed in your midst. | |
| | 14 | 到了我懲罰你的日子、你的心還能忍受麼．你的手還能有力麼．我耶和華說了這話、就必照著行。
Will your courage endure or your hands be strong in the day I deal with you? I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it. | |
| | 15 | 我必將你分散在列國、四散在列邦．我也必從你中間除掉你的污穢。
I will disperse you among the nations and scatter you through the countries; and I will put an end to your uncleanness. | |
| | 16 | 你必在列國人的眼前因自己所行的被褻瀆．你就知道我是耶和華。
When you have been defiled in the eyes of the nations, you will know that I am the LORD.'" | |
| | 17 | 耶和華的話臨到我說、
Then the word of the LORD came to me: | |
| | 18 | 人子阿、以色列家在我看為渣滓．他們都是爐中的銅、錫、鐵、鉛．都是銀渣滓。
"Son of man, the house of Israel has become dross to me; all of them are the copper, tin, iron and lead left inside a furnace. They are but the dross of silver. | |
| | 19 | 所以主耶和華如此說、因你們都成為渣滓、我必聚集你們在耶路撒冷中。
Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: 'Because you have all become dross, I will gather you into Jerusalem. | |
| | 20 | 人怎樣將銀、銅、鐵、鉛、錫、聚在爐中、吹火鎔化．照樣、我也要發怒氣和忿怒、將你們聚集放在城中、鎔化你們。
As men gather silver, copper, iron, lead and tin into a furnace to melt it with a fiery blast, so will I gather you in my anger and my wrath and put you inside the city and melt you. | |
| | 21 | 我必聚集你們、把我烈怒的火吹在你們身上．你們就在其中鎔化。
I will gather you and I will blow on you with my fiery wrath, and you will be melted inside her. | |
| | 22 | 銀子怎樣鎔化在爐中、你們也必照樣鎔化在城中、你們就知道我耶和華是將忿怒倒在你們身上了。
As silver is melted in a furnace, so you will be melted inside her, and you will know that I the LORD have poured out my wrath upon you.'" | |
| | 23 | 耶和華的話臨到我說、
Again the word of the LORD came to me: | |
| | 24 | 人子阿、你要對這地說、你是未得潔淨之地、在惱恨的日子也沒有雨下在你以上。
"Son of man, say to the land, 'You are a land that has had no rain or showers in the day of wrath.' | |
| | 25 | 其中的先知同謀背叛、如咆哮的獅子抓撕掠物．他們吞滅人民、搶奪財寶、使這地多有寡婦。
There is a conspiracy of her princes within her like a roaring lion tearing its prey; they devour people, take treasures and precious things and make many widows within her. | |
| | 26 | 其中的祭司強解我的律法、褻瀆我的聖物、不分別聖的和俗的、也不使人分辨潔淨的和不潔淨的、又遮眼不顧我的安息日．我也在他們中間被褻慢。
Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them. | |
| | 27 | 其中的首領彷彿豺狼抓撕掠物、殺人流血、傷害人命、要得不義之財。
Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey; they shed blood and kill people to make unjust gain. | |
| | 28 | 其中的先知為百姓用未泡透的灰抹牆、就是為他們見虛假的異象用謊詐的占卜、說、主耶和華如此說．其實耶和華沒有說。
Her prophets whitewash these deeds for them by false visions and lying divinations. They say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says'--when the LORD has not spoken. | |
| | 29 | 國內眾民一味的欺壓、慣行搶奪、虧負困苦窮乏的、背理欺壓寄居的。
The people of the land practice extortion and commit robbery; they oppress the poor and needy and mistreat the alien, denying them justice. | |
| | 30 | 我在他們中間尋找一人重修牆垣、在我面前為這國站在破口防堵、使我不滅絕這國．卻找不著一個。
"I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found none. | |
| | 31 | 所以我將惱恨倒在他們身上、用烈怒的火滅了他們、照他們所行的、報應在他們頭上．這是主耶和華說的。
So I will pour out my wrath on them and consume them with my fiery anger, bringing down on their own heads all they have done, declares the Sovereign LORD." | |
