1 耶和華的話又臨到我說、
The word of the LORD came to me:
2 人子阿、要為推羅作起哀歌、
"Son of man, take up a lament concerning Tyre.
3 說、你居住海口、是眾民的商埠、你的交易通到許多的海島.主耶和華如此說、推羅阿、你曾說、我是全然美麗的。
Say to Tyre, situated at the gateway to the sea, merchant of peoples on many coasts, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: "'You say, O Tyre, "I am perfect in beauty."
4 你的境界在海中.造你的使你全然美麗。
Your domain was on the high seas; your builders brought your beauty to perfection.
5 他們用示尼珥的松樹作你的一切板.用利巴嫩的香柏樹作桅杆.
They made all your timbers of pine trees from Senir; they took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.
6 用巴珊的橡樹作你的槳.用象牙鑲嵌基提海島的黃楊木為坐板。〔坐板或作舨板〕
Of oaks from Bashan they made your oars; of cypress wood from the coasts of Cyprus they made your deck, inlaid with ivory.
7 你的篷帆、是用埃及繡花細麻布作的、可以作你的大旗、你的涼棚是用以利沙島的藍色紫色布作的。
Fine embroidered linen from Egypt was your sail and served as your banner; your awnings were of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah.
8 西頓和亞發的居民、作你盪槳的.推羅阿、你中間的智慧人作掌舵的。
Men of Sidon and Arvad were your oarsmen; your skilled men, O Tyre, were aboard as your seamen.
9 迦巴勒的老者、和聰明人、都在你中間作補縫的.一切泛海的船隻、和水手、都在你中間經營交易的事。
Veteran craftsmen of Gebal were on board as shipwrights to caulk your seams. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to trade for your wares.
10 波斯人、路德人、弗人、在你軍營中作戰士.他們在你中間懸掛盾牌和頭盔、彰顯你的尊榮。
"'Men of Persia, Lydia and Put served as soldiers in your army. They hung their shields and helmets on your walls, bringing you splendor.
11 亞發人和你的軍隊都在你四圍的牆上、你的望樓也有勇士、他們懸掛盾牌、成全你的美麗。
Men of Arvad and Helech manned your walls on every side; men of Gammad were in your towers. They hung their shields around your walls; they brought your beauty to perfection.
12 他施人因你多有各類的財物、就作你的客商.拿銀、鐵、錫、鉛、兌換你的貨物。
"'Tarshish did business with you because of your great wealth of goods; they exchanged silver, iron, tin and lead for your merchandise.
13 雅完人、土巴人、米設人、都與你交易.他們用人口和銅器、兌換你的貨物。
"'Greece, Tubal and Meshech traded with you; they exchanged slaves and articles of bronze for your wares.
14 陀迦瑪族用馬和戰馬並騾子、兌換你的貨物。
"'Men of Beth Togarmah exchanged work horses, war horses and mules for your merchandise.
15 底但人與你交易、許多海島作你的碼頭、他們拿象牙、烏木與你兌換。〔兌換或作進貢〕
"'The men of Rhodes traded with you, and many coastlands were your customers; they paid you with ivory tusks and ebony.
16 亞蘭人、因你的工作很多、就作你的客商.他們用綠寶石、紫色布繡貨、細麻布、珊瑚、紅寶石、兌換你的貨物。
"'Aram did business with you because of your many products; they exchanged turquoise, purple fabric, embroidered work, fine linen, coral and rubies for your merchandise.
17 猶大和以色列地的人、都與你交易.他們用米匿的麥子、餅、蜜、油、乳香、兌換你的貨物。
"'Judah and Israel traded with you; they exchanged wheat from Minnith and confections, honey, oil and balm for your wares.
18 大馬色人因你的工作很多、又因你多有各類的財物、就拿黑本酒、和白羊毛、與你交易。
"'Damascus, because of your many products and great wealth of goods, did business with you in wine from Helbon and wool from Zahar.
19 威但人、和雅完人、拿紡成的線、亮鐵、桂皮、菖蒲、兌換你的貨物。
"'Danites and Greeks from Uzal bought your merchandise; they exchanged wrought iron, cassia and calamus for your wares.
20 底但人、用高貴的毯子、鞍、屜、與你交易。
"'Dedan traded in saddle blankets with you.
21 亞拉伯人、和基達的一切首領、都作你的客商.用羊羔、公綿羊、公山羊、與你交易。
"'Arabia and all the princes of Kedar were your customers; they did business with you in lambs, rams and goats.
22 示巴和拉瑪的商人與你交易.他們用各類上好的香料、各類的寶石、和黃金、兌換你的財物。
"'The merchants of Sheba and Raamah traded with you; for your merchandise they exchanged the finest of all kinds of spices and precious stones, and gold.
23 哈蘭人、干尼人、伊甸人、示巴的商人、和亞述人、基抹人、與你交易。
"'Haran, Canneh and Eden and merchants of Sheba, Asshur and Kilmad traded with you.
24 這些商人以美好的貨物、包在繡花藍色包袱內、又有華麗的衣服、裝在香柏木的箱子裡、用繩捆著、與你交易。
In your marketplace they traded with you beautiful garments, blue fabric, embroidered work and multicolored rugs with cords twisted and tightly knotted.
25 他施的船隻接連成幫為你運貨、你便在海中豐富極其榮華。
"'The ships of Tarshish serve as carriers for your wares. You are filled with heavy cargo in the heart of the sea.
26 盪槳的已經把你盪到大水之處.東風在海中將你打破。
Your oarsmen take you out to the high seas. But the east wind will break you to pieces in the heart of the sea.
27 你的貲財、物件、貨物、水手、掌舵的、補縫的、經營交易的、並你中間的戰士、和人民、在你破壞的日子必都沉在海中。
Your wealth, merchandise and wares, your mariners, seamen and shipwrights, your merchants and all your soldiers, and everyone else on board will sink into the heart of the sea on the day of your shipwreck.
28 你掌舵的呼號之聲一發、郊野都必震動。
The shorelands will quake when your seamen cry out.
29 凡盪槳的、和水手、並一切泛海掌舵的、都必下船登岸。
All who handle the oars will abandon their ships; the mariners and all the seamen will stand on the shore.
30 他們必為你放聲痛哭、把塵土撒在頭上、在灰中打輥。
They will raise their voice and cry bitterly over you; they will sprinkle dust on their heads and roll in ashes.
31 又為你使頭上光禿、用麻布束腰、號咷痛哭、苦苦悲哀。
They will shave their heads because of you and will put on sackcloth. They will weep over you with anguish of soul and with bitter mourning.
32 他們哀號的時候、為你作起哀歌哀哭、說、有何城如推羅、有何城如他在海中成為寂寞的呢。
As they wail and mourn over you, they will take up a lament concerning you: "Who was ever silenced like Tyre, surrounded by the sea?"
33 你由海上運出貨物、就使許多國民充足.你以許多貲財、貨物、使地上的君王豐富。
When your merchandise went out on the seas, you satisfied many nations; with your great wealth and your wares you enriched the kings of the earth.
34 你在深水中被海浪打破的時候、你的貨物、和你中間的一切人民、就都沉下去了。
Now you are shattered by the sea in the depths of the waters; your wares and all your company have gone down with you.
35 海島的居民為你驚奇.他們的君王都甚恐慌、面帶愁容。
All who live in the coastlands are appalled at you; their kings shudder with horror and their faces are distorted with fear.
36 各國民中的客商、都向你發珱聲.你令人驚恐、不再存留於世、直到永遠。
The merchants among the nations hiss at you; you have come to a horrible end and will be no more.'"
