1 我是因耶和华忿怒的杖,遭遇困苦的人。 I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath. |
2 他引导我,使我行在黑暗中,不行在光明里。 He has driven me away and made me walk in darkness rather than light; |
3 他真是终日再三反手攻击我。 indeed, he has turned his hand against me again and again, all day long. |
4 他使我的皮肉枯干。他折断(或作压伤)我的骨头。 He has made my skin and my flesh grow old and has broken my bones. |
5 他筑垒攻击我,用苦楚(原文作苦胆)和艰难围困我。 He has besieged me and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship. |
6 他使我住在幽暗之处,像死了许久的人一样。 He has made me dwell in darkness like those long dead. |
7 他用篱笆围住我,使我不能出去。他使我的铜链沉重。 He has walled me in so I cannot escape; he has weighed me down with chains. |
8 我哀号求救。他使我的祷告不得上达。 Even when I call out or cry for help, he shuts out my prayer. |
9 他用凿过的石头挡住我的道。他使我的路弯曲。 He has barred my way with blocks of stone; he has made my paths crooked. |
10 他向我如熊埋伏,如狮子在隐密处。 Like a bear lying in wait, like a lion in hiding, |
11 他使我转离正路,将我撕碎,使我凄凉。 he dragged me from the path and mangled me and left me without help. |
12 他张弓将我当作箭靶子。 He drew his bow and made me the target for his arrows. |
13 他把箭袋中的箭射入我的肺腑。 He pierced my heart with arrows from his quiver. |
14 我成了众民的笑话。他们终日以我为歌曲。 I became the laughingstock of all my people; they mock me in song all day long. |
15 他用苦楚充满我,使我饱用茵陈。 He has filled me with bitter herbs and sated me with gall. |
16 他又用沙石碜断我的牙,用灰尘将我蒙蔽。 He has broken my teeth with gravel; he has trampled me in the dust. |
17 你使我远离平安,我忘记好处。 I have been deprived of peace; I have forgotten what prosperity is. |
18 我就说,我的力量衰败。我在耶和华那里毫无指望。 So I say, "My splendor is gone and all that I had hoped from the LORD." |
19 耶和华阿,求你记念我如茵陈和苦胆的困苦窘迫。 I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall. |
20 我心想念这些,就在里面忧闷。 I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me. |
21 我想起这事,心里就有指望。 Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: |
22 我们不至消灭,是出于耶和华诸般的慈爱。是因他的怜悯不至断绝。 Because of the LORD'S great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. |
23 每早晨,这都是新的。你的诚实极其广大。 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. |
24 我心里说,耶和华是我的分,因此,我要仰望他。 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him." |
25 凡等候耶和华,心里寻求他的,耶和华必施恩给他。 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; |
26 人仰望耶和华,静默等候他的救恩,这原是好的。 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. |
27 人在幼年负轭,这原是好的。 It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young. |
28 他当独坐无言,因为这是耶和华加在他身上的。 Let him sit alone in silence, for the LORD has laid it on him. |
29 他当口贴尘埃,或者有指望。 Let him bury his face in the dust--there may yet be hope. |
30 他当由人打他的腮颊,要满受凌辱。 Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him, and let him be filled with disgrace. |
31 因为主必不永远丢弃人。 For men are not cast off by the Lord forever. |
32 主虽使人忧愁,还要照他诸般的慈爱发怜悯。 Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. |
33 因他并不甘心使人受苦,使人忧愁。 For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the children of men. |
34 人将世上被囚的踹(原文作压)在脚下, To crush underfoot all prisoners in the land, |
35 或在至高者面前屈枉人, to deny a man his rights before the Most High, |
36 或在人的讼事上颠倒是非,这都是主看不上的。 to deprive a man of justice--would not the Lord see such things? |
37 除非主命定,谁能说成就成呢? Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it? |
38 祸福不都出于至高者的口吗? Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come? |
39 活人因自己的罪受罚,为何发怨言呢? Why should any living man complain when punished for his sins? |
40 我们当深深考察自己的行为,再归向耶和华。 Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the LORD. |
41 我们当诚心向天上的神举手祷告。 Let us lift up our hearts and our hands to God in heaven, and say: |
42 我们犯罪背逆,你并不赦免。 "We have sinned and rebelled and you have not forgiven. |
43 你自被怒气遮蔽,追赶我们。你施行杀戮,并不顾惜。 "You have covered yourself with anger and pursued us; you have slain without pity. |
44 你以黑云遮蔽自己,以致祷告不得透入。 You have covered yourself with a cloud so that no prayer can get through. |
45 你使我们在万民中成为污秽和渣滓。 You have made us scum and refuse among the nations. |
46 我们的仇敌都向我们大大张口。 "All our enemies have opened their mouths wide against us. |
47 恐惧和陷坑,残害和毁灭,都临近我们。 We have suffered terror and pitfalls, ruin and destruction." |
48 因我众民遭的毁灭,我就眼泪下流如河。 Streams of tears flow from my eyes because my people are destroyed. |
49 我的眼多多流泪,总不止息, My eyes will flow unceasingly, without relief, |
50 直等耶和华垂顾,从天观看。 until the LORD looks down from heaven and sees. |
51 因我本城的众民,我的眼,使我的心伤痛。 What I see brings grief to my soul because of all the women of my city. |
52 无故与我为仇的追逼我,像追雀鸟一样。 Those who were my enemies without cause hunted me like a bird. |
53 他们使我的命在牢狱中断绝,并将一块石头抛在我身上。 They tried to end my life in a pit and threw stones at me; |
54 众水流过我头,我说,我命断绝了。 the waters closed over my head, and I thought I was about to be cut off. |
55 耶和华阿,我从深牢中求告你的名。 I called on your name, O LORD, from the depths of the pit. |
56 你曾听见我的声音。我求你解救,你不要掩耳不听。 You heard my plea: "Do not close your ears to my cry for relief." |
57 我求告你的日子,你临近我,说,不要惧怕。 You came near when I called you, and you said, "Do not fear." |
58 主阿,你伸明了我的冤。你救赎了我的命。 O Lord, you took up my case; you redeemed my life. |
59 耶和华阿,你见了我受的委屈。求你为我伸冤。 You have seen, O LORD, the wrong done to me. Uphold my cause! |
60 他们仇恨我,谋害我,你都看见了。 You have seen the depth of their vengeance, all their plots against me. |
61 耶和华阿,你听见他们辱骂我的话,知道他们向我所设的计, O LORD, you have heard their insults, all their plots against me-- |
62 并那些起来攻击我的人口中所说的话,以及终日向我所设的计谋。 what my enemies whisper and mutter against me all day long. |
63 求你观看,他们坐下,起来,都以我为歌曲。 Look at them! Sitting or standing, they mock me in their songs. |
64 耶和华阿,你要按着他们手所作的向他们施行报应。 Pay them back what they deserve, O LORD, for what their hands have done. |
65 你要使他们心里刚硬,使你的咒诅临到他们。 Put a veil over their hearts, and may your curse be on them! |
66 你要发怒追赶他们,从耶和华的天下除灭他们。 Pursue them in anger and destroy them from under the heavens of the LORD. |
