| | 1 | 耶和華對摩西說、
The LORD said to Moses, | |
| | 2 | 你曉諭以色列全會眾說、你們要聖潔、因為我耶和華你們的 神是聖潔的。
"Speak to the entire assembly of Israel and say to them: 'Be holy because I, the LORD your God, am holy. | |
| | 3 | 你們各人都當孝敬父母．也要守我的安息日．我是耶和華你們的 神。
"'Each of you must respect his mother and father, and you must observe my Sabbaths. I am the LORD your God. | |
| | 4 | 你們不可偏向虛無的神、也不可為自己鑄造神像．我是耶和華你們的 神。
"'Do not turn to idols or make gods of cast metal for yourselves. I am the LORD your God. | |
| | 5 | 你們獻平安祭給耶和華的時候、要獻得可蒙悅納。
"'When you sacrifice a fellowship offering to the LORD, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf. | |
| | 6 | 這祭物要在獻的那一天、和第二天喫、若有剩到第三天的、就必用火焚燒。
It shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it or on the next day; anything left over until the third day must be burned up. | |
| | 7 | 第三天若再喫、這就為可憎惡的、必不蒙悅納．
If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted. | |
| | 8 | 凡喫的人、必擔當他的罪孽、因為他褻瀆了耶和華的聖物、那人必從民中剪除。
Whoever eats it will be held responsible because he has desecrated what is holy to the LORD; that person must be cut off from his people. | |
| | 9 | 在你們的地收割莊稼、不可割盡田角、也不可拾取所遺落的。
"'When you reap the harvest of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest. | |
| | 10 | 不可摘盡葡萄園的果子、也不可拾取葡萄園所掉的果子、要留給窮人和寄居的．我是耶和華你們的 神。
Do not go over your vineyard a second time or pick up the grapes that have fallen. Leave them for the poor and the alien. I am the LORD your God. | |
| | 11 | 你們不可偷盜、不可欺騙、也不可彼此說謊。
"'Do not steal. "'Do not lie. "'Do not deceive one another. | |
| | 12 | 不可指著我的名起假誓、褻瀆你 神的名．我是耶和華。
"'Do not swear falsely by my name and so profane the name of your God. I am the LORD. | |
| | 13 | 不可欺壓你的鄰舍、也不可搶奪他的物．雇工人的工價、不可在你那裡過夜留到早晨。
"'Do not defraud your neighbor or rob him. "'Do not hold back the wages of a hired man overnight. | |
| | 14 | 不可咒罵聾子．也不可將絆腳石放在瞎子面前．只要敬畏你的 神．我是耶和華。
"'Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the LORD. | |
| | 15 | 你們施行審判、不可行不義、不可偏護窮人、也不可重看有勢力的人．只要按著公義審判你的鄰舍。
"'Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly. | |
| | 16 | 不可在民中往來搬弄是非．也不可與鄰舍為敵、置之於死．〔原文作流他的血〕我是耶和華。
"'Do not go about spreading slander among your people. "'Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor's life. I am the LORD. | |
| | 17 | 不可心裡恨你的弟兄．總要指摘你的鄰舍、免得因他擔罪。
"'Do not hate your brother in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt. | |
| | 18 | 不可報仇、也不可埋怨你本國的子民、卻要愛人如己．我是耶和華。
"'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD. | |
| | 19 | 你們要守我的律例。不可叫你的牲畜與異類配合．不可用兩樣攙雜的種、種你的地．也不可用兩樣攙雜的料作衣服、穿在身上。
"'Keep my decrees. "'Do not mate different kinds of animals. "'Do not plant your field with two kinds of seed. "'Do not wear clothing woven of two kinds of material. | |
| | 20 | 婢女許配了丈夫、還沒有被贖得釋放、人若與他行淫、二人要受刑罰、卻不把他們治死、因為婢女還沒有得自由。
"'If a man sleeps with a woman who is a slave girl promised to another man but who has not been ransomed or given her freedom, there must be due punishment. Yet they are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed. | |
| | 21 | 那人要把贖愆祭、就是一隻公綿羊、牽到會幕門口、耶和華面前。
The man, however, must bring a ram to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting for a guilt offering to the LORD. | |
| | 22 | 祭司要用贖愆祭的羊、在耶和華面前贖他所犯的罪．他的罪就必蒙赦免。
With the ram of the guilt offering the priest is to make atonement for him before the LORD for the sin he has committed, and his sin will be forgiven. | |
| | 23 | 你們到了迦南地、栽種各樣結果子的樹木、就要以所結的果子如未受割禮的一樣．三年之久、你們要以這些果子、如未受割禮的、是不可喫的。
"'When you enter the land and plant any kind of fruit tree, regard its fruit as forbidden. For three years you are to consider it forbidden; it must not be eaten. | |
| | 24 | 但第四年所結的果子、全要成為聖、用以讚美耶和華。
In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD. | |
| | 25 | 第五年你們要喫那樹上的果子、好叫樹給你們結果子更多．我是耶和華你們的 神。
But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the LORD your God. | |
| | 26 | 你們不可喫帶血的物．不可用法術、也不可觀兆。
"'Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. "'Do not practice divination or sorcery. | |
| | 27 | 頭的周圍不可剃、〔周圍或作兩鬢〕鬍鬚的周圍也不可損壞。
"'Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard. | |
| | 28 | 不可為死人用刀劃身、也不可在身上刺花紋．我是耶和華。
"'Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD. | |
| | 29 | 不可辱沒你的女兒、使他為娼妓．恐怕地上的人專向淫亂、地就滿了大惡。
"'Do not degrade your daughter by making her a prostitute, or the land will turn to prostitution and be filled with wickedness. | |
| | 30 | 你們要守我的安息日、敬我的聖所．我是耶和華。
"'Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the LORD. | |
| | 31 | 不可偏向那些交鬼的、和行巫術的．不可求問他們、以致被他們玷污了．我是耶和華你們的 神。
"'Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God. | |
| | 32 | 在白髮的人面前、你要站起來、也要尊敬老人、又要敬畏你的 神．我是耶和華。
"'Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the LORD. | |
| | 33 | 若有外人在你們國中和你同居、就不可欺負他。
"'When an alien lives with you in your land, do not mistreat him. | |
| | 34 | 和你們同居的外人、你們要看他如本地人一樣、並要愛他如己、因為你們在埃及地也作過寄居的．我是耶和華你們的 神。
The alien living with you must be treated as one of your native-born. Love him as yourself, for you were aliens in Egypt. I am the LORD your God. | |
| | 35 | 你們施行審判、不可行不義．在尺、秤、升、斗上、也是如此。
"'Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity. | |
| | 36 | 要用公道天平、公道法碼、公道升斗、公道秤．我是耶和華你們的 神、曾把你們從埃及地領出來的。
Use honest scales and honest weights, an honest ephah and an honest hin. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt. | |
| | 37 | 你們要謹守遵行我一切的律例、典章．我是耶和華。
"'Keep all my decrees and all my laws and follow them. I am the LORD.'" | |
